This policy explains how Magellan Interactive LLC ("VineWorth," "we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use VineWorth. We collect only what we need to check your assessment and generate your appeal, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

• Information you provide: your property address or PIN, your email address, and your name if you enter it.
• Payment information: if you purchase a package, payment is processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Public records: we retrieve publicly available Cook County assessment and property data for the parcel you ask us to analyze.
• Usage data: basic technical data (such as device/browser type and pages viewed) needed to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

• To check your assessment, generate your appeal package, and deliver your results.
• To email you your Assessment Check and, if you create an account, to sign you in via a one-time email link.
• To process your payment and provide support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to comply with law.

Service providers we use

We share limited information with vendors who help us run VineWorth: Supabase (secure database + sign-in), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data only to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember the property you're checking so you don't have to re-enter it, and to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention

We retain your lead and report information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or unsubscribe from emails, by contacting hello@vineworth.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Children

VineWorth is intended for property owners and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
