VineWorth is an automated, self-service property-tax appeal platform operated by Magellan Interactive LLC ("VineWorth," "we," "us"). The platform analyzes public records and generates a ready-to-file appeal package that homeowners file themselves. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we do not represent you before any assessing authority. By using VineWorth you agree to these Terms.
VineWorth analyzes publicly available Cook County, Illinois property records to estimate whether your home may be over-assessed and, for a fee, automatically generates an appeal package — including a uniformity analysis, comparable properties, and step-by-step filing instructions. You review, file, and submit the appeal yourself, in your own name, directly with the relevant county office.
Nothing on this site or in any package VineWorth generates is legal advice. Using VineWorth does not create an attorney–client relationship. You are responsible for reviewing your materials, choosing whether to file, and meeting all filing deadlines and requirements. If you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney.
Assessment figures, comparable properties, and savings estimates are derived from public data and standard methodology. They are estimates only. We do not guarantee that you are over-assessed, that an appeal will succeed, or that you will receive any particular reduction or savings. Assessing authorities make the final decision.
VineWorth currently serves residential properties in Cook County, Illinois. You agree to provide accurate information (such as your address or PIN) and to verify that any parcel the platform analyzes is actually yours before filing.
Checking your assessment is free. The appeal package is offered at a flat fee of $99 (or the price shown at checkout). Filing an appeal with the county is always free and is done by you. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; see our Refund Policy.
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it through automated means without permission, or use it for any unlawful purpose. You may use the materials the platform generates for your own appeal.
The VineWorth name, site, and software are owned by Magellan Interactive LLC. The appeal package the platform generates for you is yours to use for your own filing. Public records referenced in your package remain public records.
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magellan Interactive LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
